Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Early Careers Teacher to join our team at Hazelwood School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching basic patient care skills to students in the first semester, preparing them for entry-level positions in a healthcare facility. In the second semester, the teacher will place and supervise students in healthcare-related work stations, ensuring quality work stations and maintaining positive relations with workplace staff.

Responsibilities:

Teach basic patient care skills to students in the first semester
Place and supervise students in healthcare-related work stations in the second semester
Secure quality work stations and maintain positive relations with workplace staff

Requirements:

Registered Nurse, BSN preferred, with a current Nonrestricted MO Nursing License
MO Certification Required: Health Occupations Aide; Nursing OTH; or Health Professional
Bachelor's degree in nursing and 4,000 hours of DESE-approved, related occupational experience within the past 10 years
