Production Line Specialist

The Production Technician is responsible for performing work on manufacturing product lines as assigned. This includes but is not limited to filling and capping, edible production, packaging, and pre-roll assembly. The main duties will include accurately setting up product lines, operating equipment, maintaining a clean environment, assembling packaging and/or labeling finished product. This position will have to float between the two facilities; edible kitchen and manufacturing both in Tempe as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual to automatic production lines as assigned
Weigh and mix ingredients according to recipes and SOPs to produce edible products including gummies, hard candies, and baked goods
Record all packaging and production activity as directed to ensure all activities are accounted for such as batch processing, cleaning, cooking time, temperatures, waste log, etc.
Meet packaging and production goals set
Responsible for maintaining all equipment used in good working condition
Report any equipment, product, health, and safety issues to leadership
Ensure product is packaged and labeled accurately and in compliance with regulations
Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
Ensure that assigned areas and equipment are clean and sanitized at all times
Adhere to all standard operating procedures, kitchen hygiene, food safety guidelines, and the highest standard of compliance
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 21 years of age
2+ years experience in manufacturing
Physical Requirements:
Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands.
Frequently requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
Frequently stooping, bending, and reaching.
Must work indoors and outdoors year-round.
Must work in noisy and crowded environments.
Observe, see, hear, and respond to directions given with effective outcome
Lift 25-40 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary.
Crouch & bend often
Stand for short/high periods of time.
Sit for short/medium periods of time.
Walk for short/high periods of time
Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level.
Handle the responsibilities and routine stress often associated with this position
