Product Development Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Technician to support the development and launch of new products and product enhancements within our organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of product development efforts.
- Manage product development projects to ensure the successful delivery of innovative and marketable products.
- Perform small-scale infusions and build out research units to facilitate sensory evaluations.
- Utilize Microsoft Business Central to push all production through the track-and-trace system and maintain an accurate R&D inventory.
- Coordinate the development of product prototypes and samples, including conducting product testing and gathering feedback for iteration and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the product development process.
Requirements:
- At least 21 years old per state law.
- General knowledge of cannabis manufacturing intricacies.
- Proficient in cannabis assessment and thorough knowledge of different Cannabinoids and Terpenes.
- Working understanding of algebra and MS Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, and Asana.
- Possesses a strong collaborative spirit and be comfortable working as part of a team.
- Possesses strong organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
- HS diploma or GED.
- Ganjier or Cannabis Sommelier Certification preferred.
- 1+ years' experience within a R&D or similar role preferred.
- 1-2 years in the cannabis industry in a production, product development, or education-based role.
