Position Title: NURSE AIDE II

Role Overview: Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or designated supervisor, the Nurse Aide II provides essential patient care and helps maintain a safe environment that caters to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and Observation: Accurately obtain and report vital signs and other measurements, observing and documenting the physical condition of assigned patients.
- Specimen Collection: Perform point-of-care testing and collect various specimens while maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Patient Care: Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, mobility, and nutritional needs, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Wound and Skin Care: Provide cleansing and dressing for non-sterile wounds, assisting with complex dressing changes as needed.
- Environmental Maintenance: Ensure patient care areas are stocked, organized, and clean, preparing rooms for admissions or procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a patient care environment or relevant educational background is necessary.
- Certification as a Nurse Aide or Medical Assistant is preferred.
Work Schedule: This position requires a commitment of 24 hours per week, primarily during night shifts with weekend availability.
