Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic programs to drive cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with global category/commodity management team members, BU/Division business partners, and Procurement Business Partners to achieve program objectives.
  • Manage inventory and lead time optimization initiatives, including educating the sourcing team on execution mechanics and providing progress reporting.
  • Develop and manage compliance to standard process in conjunction with the Procurement Center of Excellence.
  • Work closely with the quality organization to ensure that ISO and customer audits include the proper team members.
  • Other strategic programs as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or similar.
  • 8+ years of experience in Direct Procurement roles with a strong understanding of best practices.
  • Program/Project management experience required.
  • Ability to indirectly lead teams, keep clean records and data, and maintaining close relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project scopes, business dynamics and organizational needs.
  • Comfortable with revising plans and strategies as required.
  • Ability to be a team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems (such as: SAP).
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor material and industry expectations.
  • Good financial and data skills, including experience with return-on-investment models and developing cost of ownership models.
  • Self-starter mentality who can meet goals with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization.
  • Highly analytical in decision-making processes, yet comfortable dealing with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Experience working in cross-cultural environment; prior experience with a multi-national company is desirable.
