About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier Part-Time associate to join our team at Lowe's. As a Cashier, you will be the final point of contact for our customers, providing a positive and personalized shopping experience. You will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing transactions, and handling customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at the register, ensuring every customer exits on a high note.
  • Engage with customers, provide guidance during checkout, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and exchanges.
  • Answer customer questions, provide product information, and offer solutions to meet their needs.

Requirements
  • 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
  • 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cashier, salesperson, or retail associate.
  • Experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs, including credit cards, installations, add-on sales, and explaining warranties, product features, and benefits.
  • Customer-focused and goal-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
