Job Summary
New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a skilled Part-Time Dosing Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing safe, quality, and best-in-class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication pursuant to physician order and record dosage administered in the medical record.
  • Conduct daily medication inventory counts and maintain absolute accuracy in daily accounting of medication.
  • Assume responsibility for safeguarding medication inventory and ensuring proper disposal of medical waste.
  • Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation in the absence of a cashier position.
  • Receive and verify incoming medication shipments and advise necessary staff of any discrepancies.
  • Observe patient demeanor prior to dosing and communicate any issues or concerns to the Medical Director or Registered Nurse.
  • Administer lab tests as required, including patient vital signs and TB tests, and collect data for review by the Medical Director or RN.
  • Schedule and screen patients for medical appointments and assist the Medical Director in collecting data for the history and physical.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient medical paperwork and comply with federal and state privacy rules.

Requirements
  • Active nursing license in the state in which the clinic is located.
  • Minimum of 1-year direct patient contact experience.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in daily functions.

Working Conditions
This role requires the ability to work in an open work area with moderate everyday noise and to perform other duties as required. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain confidentiality, resolve practical problems, and interpret a variety of instructions. Advanced mathematics ability is necessary to maneuver through daily medications and tasks.
