Critical Care Registered Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our part-time float pool team at Grandview Medical Center. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the Role: This part-time position offers a 3x8 hour shift schedule, providing flexibility and work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and document nursing care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
- Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promote patients' independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, concurrently performing a variety of tasks.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need an associate's degree and an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse, as well as at least 2 years of experience in critical care nursing. Familiarity with standard nursing concepts, practices, and procedures is highly preferred.
