RN Med Surg Float Part Time Night Shift Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Med/Surg Float Registered Nurse to join our team at Grandview Medical Center. As a Med/Surg Float RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
About the RoleThis part-time night shift position offers a unique opportunity to work in a variety of medical and surgical areas, including cardiology, oncology, and emergency care. As a Med/Surg Float RN, you will be responsible for evaluating assigned patients, planning and implementing nursing care, and documenting patient progress. You will also have the opportunity to assist physicians during examinations and procedures, perform patient tests, and administer medications within the scope of your practice.
Responsibilities- Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and document nursing care, including administering medications and performing patient tests.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, and provide support to patients and families.
- Teach patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills to promote independence and improve health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Associate's degree in nursing and current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Prefer Bachelors degree in nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (if applicable).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
