Job Title: Snowflake Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Architect to lead the design and implementation of our enterprise data management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, data warehousing, and cloud computing, with a focus on Snowflake architecture and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the architecture of our data management solutions in accordance with best practices guidelines and policies.
  2. Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes using Snowflake.
  3. Migrate data and workloads from legacy systems to Snowflake using various tools and methods.
  4. Develop and implement data security governance and compliance policies using Snowflake roles, privileges, encryption, masking, auditing, etc.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver architecture technology solutions.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features, best practices, and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in data management, data warehousing, and cloud computing.
  • 5 years of experience in Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowpark, compute, and storage.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data structures, and database design principles.
  • Experience in distributed architectures and designing for scalability in public cloud.
  • Experience in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
  • Snowflake certifications, including SnowPro Core and SnowPro Advanced Architect.
