Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of donors and our team while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results
  • Answer phones and greet donors
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes as needed
  • Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays
  • Learn to install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines
Requirements
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens (risk level 1)
