Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service: Meet or exceed sales targets by providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring their satisfaction with their vehicle purchase.
- Vehicle Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on new and pre-owned vehicle inventory, features, and accessories to effectively communicate with customers and meet their needs.
- Prospecting and Follow-up: Develop and maintain a prospect development system to identify potential customers and follow up with them to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with the service department and body shop to ensure that vehicles are reconditioned as expected and on schedule, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to ensure seamless transactions.
- Professional Development: Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in automotive sales or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong understanding of the automotive industry.
- Certifications: Valid in-state driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
