Position Summary:

We are seeking a Chief Legal Officer to deliver comprehensive legal guidance across all facets of MacDonald-Miller's commercial construction initiatives and business agreements. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders and senior management, focusing on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts while ensuring adherence to federal and multi-state regulations, including lien management and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Oversight: Manage the drafting and review of construction agreements to safeguard project interests and minimize risks.
  • Risk Management: Lead initiatives to ensure compliance with multi-state licensing and regulatory standards.
  • Legal Advisory: Provide legal counsel on corporate governance and oversee insurance matters.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive legal experience within the construction sector.
  • Proven success in litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Strong understanding of compliance with multi-state regulations.
  • Juris Doctor degree; licensed to practice law.
