Technical Support Specialist for Unmanned Systems

The Unmanned Technical Support Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our unmanned systems operations. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex unmanned equipment.
Responsibilities:- Assist with internal and customer returns for repairs and maintenance.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on unmanned equipment and accessories.
- Follow standard operating procedures and manufacturers' guidelines for repairs.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all repair activities, including test results, adjustments, and parts used.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Perform inventory control of inbound and outbound unmanned equipment and accessory items related to sales activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly organized, calibrated, and in good working condition.
- Be capable of monitoring all direct internal communication channels.
- Be capable of structuring your work calendar to ensure tasks are completed by goal dates.
- Assist with and/or conduct unmanned systems field Proof of Concepts, with the potential for work travel.
- Facilitate the setup during company trade shows, with the potential for work travel.
- Training and Development
- Develop a schedule for training days, utilizing supplied materials from manufacturers to provide a thorough understanding of subject materials.
- Conduct training classes for unmanned systems and related 3rd party accessories/components.
- Display a professional understanding of materials being taught and maintain a positive reinforcement attitude while issuing constructive criticism.
- High School Diploma
- 21+ years of age
- Technical history, including repairs and diagnostics
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding work goals
- Strong understanding of the unmanned systems market, including industry trends, regulations, and key players
- Experience with computers, varying computer software and hardware
- Existing general knowledge of sUAS and UGRV products and applications
