Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Specialist to join our team at Corpus Christi Housing. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Vice President of Development, ensuring the efficient operation of Thanksgiving Homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project support for acquisitions and development with contracts, budgets, POs, check requests, schedules, etc.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control programs
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and cost-tracking
  • Assess, prioritize, and execute multiple ongoing projects
  • Administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, data entry, scanning, reports, phones, etc
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems
  • Be the initial point of contact for internal and external inquiries

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • An Associate's Degree with related coursework in Business Administration, Project Management, or Civil Engineering, plus two (2) years of related experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Windows, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • A valid Texas Driver's License and a satisfactory driver's record
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
