We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Building Renovation Projects to join our team at Johnson Controls. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing building retrofit projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing construction projects related to HVAC, controls, lighting, and renewable energy systems. A minimum of five years of direct project management experience is required, along with a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience.

You will be responsible for managing project resources, implementing safety procedures, and fostering relationships with customers and subcontractors to ensure profitable project execution. Your excellent communication and leadership skills will enable you to effectively communicate the status of assigned projects to Area Team and Project Delivery Manager/Director as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction projects related to building retrofitting, including HVAC, controls, lighting, and renewable energy systems
  • Develop and maintain customer and contractor relationships to ensure profitable project execution
  • Implement safety procedures and foster a safe working environment
  • Monitor project costs, timelines, and budgets to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including Area Team and Project Delivery Manager/Director
