Job Summary

CATCON, INC is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer-Catalyst Commercial, you will provide daily assistance to the Project Management and Field Operations on various projects.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent on assigned project(s), including site visits
  • Assist with subcontractor and supplier coordination, file management, document control, and progress reporting
  • Gather and distribute information to team members
  • Analyze and resolve field construction issues
  • Maintain and review submittal logs
  • Prepare, review, distribute, and maintain RFI's
  • Develop and maintain overall project schedule with Project Manager input
  • Prepare subcontracts and change orders
  • Prepare meeting minutes
  • Scope review subcontractor bids
  • Recommend subcontract award to Project Manager
  • Participate in project close-out activities
  • Attend meetings and trainings as assigned
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Architectural Engineering preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of construction management processes and methods
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
