Job Summary

The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of BESS projects. Reporting to the Sr. Manager and Manager of Engineering and Execution, this individual will work closely with the engineering and execution team, contributing to various project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, technical analysis, and design reviews.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks and issues.
  • Support the coordination of project deliverables and milestones.
  • Provide technical support to the construction and installation teams.

Required Skills & Experience
  • BS in engineering, preferred electrical.
  • PE preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Technical expertise in BESS technologies.
  • Experience in the Renewables industry (Battery Storage Systems, Solar Plants, or Wind Power) is strongly preferred.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities with experience working and managing multiple projects at any given time.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
