PACS Inc is seeking a skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensuring that all nursing personnel comply with the facility's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Review and update departmental policies and procedures
- Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan shifts' services, programs, and activities
- Ensure accurate documentation of resident care and services
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians
- Supervise and train nursing staff to ensure quality care
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state
- CPR certification
- Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
