Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Laborer. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to maintain and operate an international airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and participate in job safety analysis procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Mix and pour concrete, asphalt, and hot mix to repair damaged airport surfaces.
  • Operate a jackhammer to break pavement and perform other manual labor tasks.
  • Paint airport surfaces, including taxiways, runways, and parking areas.
  • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks, including cutting grass, pruning trees, and watering plants.
  • Empty trash receptacles and maintain a clean and litter-free airport environment.
  • Assist with snow removal and other winter maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned or directed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid PA Class C Driver's License and airfield driver's test within 30 days.
  • Personal protective footwear (safety shoes) required.
  • ICS 100 and 700 certification within 30 days.
  • Adhere to ACAA's Department of Maintenance Dress Code and Personal Protective Equipment Policy.
  • Pesticide and/or weed applicator's license beneficial.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, lights, and chemicals. The employee may be required to work in outside weather conditions and may be assigned to additional shifts, including holidays.
