Job Summary

Avports LLC is seeking a skilled Airport Maintenance Technician to join our team at New York Stewart International Airport (SWF). As a Seasonal Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair of roads, aprons, taxiways, runways, drainage systems, fencing, and related Airport facilities and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair of Airport facilities and structures
  • Operate mobile equipment proficiently, including backhoes, bulldozers, and front-end loaders
  • Participate in snow removal and ice control activities
  • Assist other work centers as needed to ensure timely completion of work projects
  • Perform other Airport-related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a 4-year High School or Vocational School
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools and an equipment operator background
  • 3 years of progressively responsible related experience
  • New York State Motor Vehicle Class B drivers' license
