Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our Clinical Research Division as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Research in Breast Cancer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research and a demonstrated record of excellence in breast cancer research and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical research in breast cancer, including the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program in breast cancer, including the identification of research questions, the design and implementation of studies, and the analysis and interpretation of data
  • Provide clinical care to patients with breast cancer, including the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in the field of breast cancer research and treatment
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities, including committee work and other administrative responsibilities
Requirements
  • MD/DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
  • Completion of a fellowship in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology and American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) eligible or certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology (or foreign equivalent)
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Washington
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in breast cancer research and treatment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in clinical research, including the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials
  • Strong research program in breast cancer, including the identification of research questions, the design and implementation of studies, and the analysis and interpretation of data
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students, residents, and fellows in the field of breast cancer research and treatment
