OverviewLoews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is a world-class meetings and resort destination, catering to groups of all sizes and families seeking an unforgettable experience. Strategically located between Dallas and Fort Worth, our 888-room resort boasts five restaurants and lounges, two pools, a fitness center, full-service spa and salon, and 266,000 square feet of meeting space.

ResponsibilitiesAs the Lead Restaurant Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences. Key responsibilities include:
  • Greet and seat guests with impeccable service, guaranteeing total satisfaction.
  • Oversee staff and operations, maintaining organization, cleanliness, proper maintenance, and supplies.
  • Provide floor coverage as needed, ensuring timely responses to guest inquiries.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments, maintaining adequate staffing levels and delegating administrative tasks when necessary.
  • Create checklists, seating charts, pars, and centralize information and supplies to streamline operations.
  • Staff outlets based on forecasts, needs, and Executive Management directives.
  • Develop and implement 30/60/90 day forecasts, yearly budgets, and employee development plans to drive sales and growth.
  • Monitor product quality, service standards, general maintenance, discrepant deposits, payroll, and costs to achieve higher profit margins and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate reports from supervisors and submit written observations as required.
  • Direct staff toward achieving Loews Corporation goals, defined by management.
  • Ensure accurate handling of guest checks and payment transactions.
  • Intercede or fill in for employees as needed, maintaining smooth operations.
  • Train or supervise training for all department employees.
  • Notify immediate supervisors promptly of problems or significant matters.
  • Maintain a polite, friendly, and helpful demeanor toward guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Attend relevant hotel meetings and training sessions.
  • Preserve cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work areas.
  • Execute emergency procedures according to hotel standards.
  • Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Adhere to hotel policies and rules.
  • Recycle whenever possible.
  • Stay current with hotel information and changes.
  • Meet hotel uniform and grooming standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
