Position Overview:
Moltz Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to assist with various projects in the mountainous regions of Colorado. The initial assignment will involve an expansion project at a Mine Water Discharge Treatment Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct crane operations, ensuring safe setups and evaluating foundations for stability.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks related to water and heavy concrete construction.
- Adhere to proper procedures for loading and unloading materials.
- Inspect and maintain cranes to comply with safety regulations.
- Manage work efficiency to achieve daily and project-related productivity goals.
- Report any issues to the Foreman, Safety Manager, or Human Resources.
Qualifications:
- Crane Certification (NCCCO) is required.
- Certification to operate hydraulic, rough terrain cranes is necessary.
- Minimum of two years of driving experience and at least one year of crane operation experience, or a suitable combination of education and training.
- Ability to adhere to safety policies and effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
- Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as project schedules demand.
