Position Overview:

Moltz Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to assist with various projects in the mountainous regions of Colorado. The initial assignment will involve an expansion project at a Mine Water Discharge Treatment Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct crane operations, ensuring safe setups and evaluating foundations for stability.
  • Engage in physically demanding tasks related to water and heavy concrete construction.
  • Adhere to proper procedures for loading and unloading materials.
  • Inspect and maintain cranes to comply with safety regulations.
  • Manage work efficiency to achieve daily and project-related productivity goals.
  • Report any issues to the Foreman, Safety Manager, or Human Resources.

Qualifications:

  • Crane Certification (NCCCO) is required.
  • Certification to operate hydraulic, rough terrain cranes is necessary.
  • Minimum of two years of driving experience and at least one year of crane operation experience, or a suitable combination of education and training.
  • Ability to adhere to safety policies and effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
  • Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as project schedules demand.
