About the Role

As a Customer Service-Self Storage Manager at Public Storage, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing the day-to-day operations of our self-storage facilities.

You will be the face of our company, interacting with customers to understand their storage needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.

Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting daily storage unit inspections, auditing cash drawers, and making bank deposits.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to ensure inventory and availability, and make recommendations to customers on storage solutions.
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their storage needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
