Position Overview

Immediate Opening: We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our team.

Location: Jefferson City, MO.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to identify potential theft through active floor surveillance and Closed Circuit Television systems.
- Document incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement as necessary.
- Provide testimony in court when required.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule with full-time availability (40 hours per week).

Job Requirements:
- Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
- Capability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (3-4 hours).
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and legible reports.
- Must demonstrate assertiveness while managing confrontations.
- Trustworthiness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Regular attendance is mandatory; punctuality is crucial.
- Previous experience in loss prevention is advantageous but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; coursework in Criminal Justice or related fields is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive pay at $19.00 per hour.
