Job Overview

The role involves performing moderately complex financial transactions to evaluate, investigate, and review monetary information while preparing comprehensive financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reconcile accounts from various sub-ledgers, bank statements, and external documents.
2. Analyze, research, and process billings, fees, refunds, and payments.
3. Recommend or correct postings and prepare supporting journal entries.
4. Develop correspondence regarding discrepancies or other finance-related inquiries, respond to questions, conduct research, and resolve financial issues.
5. Review accounting data for accuracy, prepare reports regarding financial information, and ensure timely maintenance of reports.
6. May provide operational guidance to other accounting personnel.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field of study.

Proficient in the use of standard software applications. Familiarity with basic accounting functions is essential. Must be skilled in 10-key by touch. The position is based in a standard office environment and may require prolonged periods of sitting at a computer.

Minimum Salary: 23.07
Maximum Salary: 28.78
