The AIT team is tasked with the assembly, integration, and verification of the advanced communication and navigation products developed by Antwerp Space.
Within the AIT team, your primary responsibility will be the verification of RF products.
Product testability begins with defining requirements, followed by model philosophy, test bench design, AIV planning, and procedures, culminating in performance and compatibility verification.
You will collaborate closely with all engineering teams, product assurance, and our international clientele.
As a member of the Antwerp Space AIT team, you will contribute to numerous exciting international satellite communication and navigation projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing test benches for RF communication and navigation products.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to design efficient system architectures and transition new products from prototype to production, with a strong emphasis on testability.
- Defining technical requirements and establishing test strategies for our projects.
- Taking ownership of all test-related documentation, executing tests, and processing results.
- Conducting environmental compatibility verification (Thermal vacuum, EMC, Vibration, Shock) of RF products, including testing at external facilities in Europe.
- Verifying interfaces typical of space products, such as MIL-STD-1533, Space Wire, SPI, RS422.
- Engaging in hands-on debugging and testing within our laboratories.
- Utilizing advanced RF testing equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and constellation simulators.
