Location: Central Mid-Atlantic

Salary Range: $110,000 - $170,000

Position Overview:

The Roofing Estimator is responsible for securing projects and facilitating their successful execution to ensure profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the market to identify bidding opportunities, focusing on commercial new builds and renovations across various roofing types.
  • Prepare detailed takeoffs from architectural plans and specifications, accounting for labor, materials, and equipment needs.
  • Source manufacturers and subcontractors to compile competitive pricing.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals for clients, including owners, contractors, and developers.
  • Transition projects to the project management team, ensuring effective communication with field managers for seamless project ownership. Some project management duties may be required.
  • Assist in generating material orders for projects.

Work Environment:

This position requires physical presence in the workplace; remote work is not an option.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial roofing estimation.
  • In-depth knowledge of various roofing systems, with proficiency in both reroofing and new construction.
  • Basic computer skills are essential.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated work ethic.
  • Established relationships with clients in the central Mid-Atlantic region are advantageous but not mandatory.
