Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Roofing Technician to join our team at CBRE. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repairs, and roofing-related services within a geographical area/route.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and monitor various types of commercial roofing systems to determine proper maintenance and repair solutions
  • Assist with installation, repair, and modification of various types of commercial roofing systems
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs
  • Order necessary materials and supplies to complete tasks and use CMMS to manage work orders and track completion
  • Inspect roof system installations and repairs for quality and compliance with applicable building codes/safety regulations
  • Maintain integrity of roofing systems by performing inspections, removal of foreign or organic debris, and coordinating and inspecting work performed by outside contractors
  • Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance, and complete maintenance and repairs, records as required
  • Report and communicate daily all work activity via PDA device
Requirements
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor
  • Ability to understand and carry out general instructions and solve problems in standard situations
  • Basic analytical skills and physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
