Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup, and patient education.
- Record and review patient health history, making chart entries under the doctor's direction.
- Prepare patients for treatment, sterilize and disinfect instruments, and maintain asepsis.
- Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
- Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including HIPAA guidelines and CPR certification.
Requirements
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered.
- Radiography/X-RAY certification for respective state.
- CPR Certification required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
