Position Overview

Salary: Based on Licensure and Experience

Meraki Health is looking for a qualified Mental Health Professional to deliver therapeutic services to children and their families in a private outpatient environment. This role offers a minimum of 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The position involves minimal paperwork and provides a fulfilling opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of professionals committed to enhancing the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities

This role provides a unique chance to engage in innovative practices with a supportive staff that includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Behavioral Technicians, and Therapy Technicians. Our approach focuses on understanding the underlying challenges faced by children with special needs, including difficulties in comprehension, communication, and sensory processing. We aim to transform perceived behavioral issues into opportunities for growth through tailored, multi-sensory, and engaging educational strategies.

Licensure Requirements

Applicants must hold one of the following licenses:

  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to connect with children through play-based therapeutic techniques and demonstrate a willingness to educate and guide parents using evidence-based methods. Preference will be given to those with expertise in play therapy and trauma-informed care. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and engagement of family members in the therapeutic process is essential. While this position is primarily in-person, occasional teletherapy may be utilized.

Your Contribution

In this role, you will support children in broadening their emotional expression by facilitating communication and emotional regulation. This will be achieved in partnership with other clinical staff who focus on these critical areas.
