Cook Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Meridian Senior Living. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing nutritious and appetizing meals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Order and manage food supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Work collaboratively with the Dining Services Manager to ensure seamless meal service.
Requirements:
  • Obtain Food Handlers Permit as required by State regulations.
  • Previous experience working with the elderly.
  • Compassion and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Ability to work responsibly as a team member and individual.
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
