Data Analytics Manager

Highmark Health is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Manager to lead our internal consulting organization focused on analytic support of internal business organizations and the strategy, design, and operations of enterprise value-based reimbursement programs.
The successful candidate will ensure that staff members execute their work according to defined processes and aligns work to staff strengths and development opportunities. They will communicate with business partners effectively and prioritize work clearly and efficiently. The team will be staffed to ensure the appropriate mix of consulting, analytic, and support functions, and will contribute to and utilize assets from the enterprise analytic portfolio.
The Data Analytics Manager will execute a consulting model to effectively solve problems and drive innovation and process improvement, including data automation opportunities. They will plan, organize, staff, direct, and control the day-to-day operations of the department, develop and implement policies and programs as necessary, and may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related area, and 5 years of experience in healthcare informatics, analytics, business intelligence, or statistics with responsibility for consultation and application of analytic capabilities in the solution of business problems, project management, leadership of professional analytic staff, and solving business, financial, and/or clinical problems.
The Data Analytics Manager will possess sound PC skills, including Microsoft Office, and be proficient in database design and management applications, query tools, and application development lifecycle. They will have working knowledge of business intelligence tools and infrastructure and overall system support, and management experience or similar experience in a supervisory capacity or role.
