As a Senior Property Treaty Underwriter, you will be instrumental in evaluating new business opportunities, conducting thorough portfolio analyses, and working collaboratively across departments to drive profitability and enhance portfolio diversity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and price both new and renewal business effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted consultant to brokers, nurturing relationships and promoting client retention.
  • Oversee accounts to maintain a balance between retention and profitability.
  • Develop innovative structures to meet client requirements.
  • Analyze treaty agreements and establish a strong market presence.
  • Assist in the acquisition of Property Retro coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in reinsurance underwriting or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical abilities, with proficiency in Excel and relevant tools.
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and demands.
  • Skills in process enhancement and operational efficiency.
  • Relevant professional designations such as CPCU, ARe, or CAT Modelling are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Compensation:

The compensation package is competitive and varies based on performance and expertise. Additional incentives may include bonuses and other rewards. The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $160,000.
