About the Role:
The Retail Front End Supervisor is a key member of the store leadership team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store's front end. This includes supervising sales floor associates, managing customer service, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train sales floor associates to provide exceptional customer service
- Manage the front end operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with store management to achieve business objectives and goals
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new associates to ensure a smooth transition
- Participate in weekly workload planning meetings to ensure efficient store operations
- Drive community relations participation through company programs and partnerships
- Coordinate meal and break periods, and monitor schedule adherence
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or specialty environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to move, handle, and lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
