Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Automation Specialist to join our team at WestRock. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems, including production equipment and plant systems.
  • Repair electrical equipment/systems and control circuits, and replace faulty electrical equipment as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial automation systems, including PLC applications and Three Phase Motors.
  • Calibrate and repair pneumatic systems and other mechanical systems on production equipment to ensure optimum performance.
  • Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with military training and/or technical school preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical automation system installation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and industrial automation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
  • Ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
