Position Summary: RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a dedicated Clinical Registered Dietitian to enhance our healthcare services. Work Schedule: 35-40 hours per week, with 40% of hours conducted remotely via telehealth

Flexibility: Customize your working days and hours.

Compensation: $35.00-$40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Travel Reimbursement: Compensated at the same hourly rate for travel time to and from facilities

Contract Duration: Minimum of 13 weeks

Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or related field
  • Current state licensure/certification (if required by the state)
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration
  • Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition care regulations
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough nutritional evaluations for patients and residents
  • Provide specialized assistance for tube feeding protocols
  • Conduct nutritional education and counseling sessions for patients and their families
  • Ensure adherence to DOH/state/federal regulations and uphold organizational standards
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
Essential Skills:
  • Clinical Proficiency: Ability to implement Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to create tailored nutrition plans for diverse patient conditions.
  • Assessment & Strategy: Conduct nutritional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Educate patients, engage with diverse populations, and build strong relationships with residents and staff.
  • Additional Competencies: Knowledge of food service operations, regulatory compliance, EHR systems, and quality improvement initiatives (consider including research, wound care, or dysphagia management as additional skills).
