Job Summary

The Credit Analyst II is a key role within Unity Bank's commercial loan department, responsible for analyzing and evaluating loan requests to ensure the bank's risk exposure is managed effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of credit underwriting concepts, financial analysis, and risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer financial condition and assess creditworthiness
  • Prepare credit proposal packages and make recommendations for loan approval
  • Collaborate with relationship managers to develop loan committee presentations
  • Minimize risk by establishing appropriate credit terms and conditions
  • Monitor and analyze delinquent accounts and recommend action
  • Provide excellent customer service and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in department projects and contribute to quality improvements and process initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in a financial institution's commercial loan department
  • Intermediate knowledge of credit underwriting concepts and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working Conditions

This role requires a moderate level of physical activity, including sitting for long periods and using computer equipment. The work environment is a standard business office setting with moderate noise levels.
