Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Springs at Lafayette. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

This is a full-time opportunity for an LPN to work in a long-term care setting, delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patients, administer medications, and perform routine lab tests.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the assessment of patients in close collaboration with Registered Nurses
  • Administer medications and observe patients to ensure they do not have adverse reactions
  • Perform routine lab tests and therapeutic services
  • Educate patients and their families about recommended disease treatment plans, including self-care post-discharge, holistic health needs, available resources, and follow-up care
  • Identify safety hazards and emergency situations to keep residents safe; take corrective action as appropriate

Requirements:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • High school diploma or GED
