Aerospace Research Scientist

GE Aerospace Research is seeking innovative interns to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. Our team is focused on exploring new advancements in AI safety and explainability, causal discovery, network encoding, transfer learning, language models, and material property forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement methods from scientific publications and pseudocode
- Design new variant techniques and set up experiments for objective analysis
- Benchmark findings and present work convincingly across varied levels of technical knowledge
Collaboration and Mentorship:
Interns will work closely with a technical member of the team to structure and execute their work, meeting regularly to ensure maximum collaborative power and mentorship.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a full-time PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields with a focus on Artificial Intelligence
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to work from the GE Aerospace Research office in Niskayuna, NY
- Minimum GPA 3.0 / 4.0 scale

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $1,000-$2,000 USD weekly. GE provides travel reimbursement and housing stipend for qualified interns.
