As the Statewide Director, you will provide strategic leadership and management for behavioral health service operations statewide. You will work in partnership with line of service directors and the senior strategy director to drive excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of statewide behavioral health strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with state and national standards.
- Provide oversight and guidance to program managers and staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including state agencies, county officials, and community partners.
- Baccalaureate degree in a behavioral health science or related field from an accredited college or university.
- At least 5 years of experience in program management, operations oversight, and/or project management.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to interpret agency policy, state licensing requirements, and other regulations.
- Ability to function independently in a variety of roles and settings.
- Project management designation or certifications (Six Sigma, LEAN, CAPM, PMP).
- Experience with Minnesota behavioral health certificate and licensing requirements (CTSS, ARMHS, MH Clinic).
- Experience leading teams of mental health professionals and practitioners.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and negotiating contracts with vendors, counties, and state agencies.
