Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. As an RN, you will provide professional nursing care to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
You will provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and responsibility indicative of professional expectation with a minimum of supervision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of care.
- Delegate patient care to other members of the healthcare team.
- Communicate and collaborate extensively with the healthcare team, patients, and/or patient's family or significant other(s).
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse New Jersey State license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within 1 year of hire.
- A minimum of 8 hours of education every two years in basic trauma assessment, intervention, and stabilization.
- A minimum of one (1) year RN experience required to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
