Shift Manager Store Leader

As a Shift Manager at Del Taco, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional guest experience and empowering your team to excel. You will support the General Manager in supervising a team that delivers outstanding results in quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness, and product preparation. Your responsibilities will include running shifts, managing the execution of company policies, procedures, programs, and systems, and supervising 1 to 7 team members. You will also ensure objectives are reached in all areas while following company guidelines and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices. Additionally, you will support the General Manager in creating and maintaining an "Employer of Choice" environment, providing leadership, direction, training, and development to the restaurant team, and supervising and directing the workforce. You will also be responsible for making staffing decisions, such as recommending interviews and administering disciplinary action as needed. To be successful in this role, you will need to deliver effective results in quality, guest service, safety, security, cleanliness, and product preparation, exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner, demonstrate a complete understanding of our menu items, and use the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute order amounts. You will also need to understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards, follow all company operation policies and procedures, and make recommendations to enhance restaurant operations. This role requires a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance, as well as 1-2 years of experience in a Quick Service restaurant environment or a guest service industry in a supervisory or leadership role. You will also need to be able to stand and walk for approximately 95-100% of your shift, including the ability to bend, reach, and lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds. Key Responsibilities

- Run shifts and support General Manager in managing the execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs, and systems.
- Supervise 1 to 7 Team Members.
- Ensure objectives are reached in all areas while following all Company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance during shifts with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
- Support General Manager in creating and maintaining an "Employer of Choice" environment.
