Job Summary

As a Shift Manager at DND Groups, Inc., you will play a crucial role in executing restaurant operations during scheduled shifts. You will be responsible for building a strong relationship with your crew members, fostering a positive environment for learning and teamwork. Your leadership skills will be essential in training and coaching crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team. You will model Dairy Queen and DND Group policies for your crew, encouraging them to work together to exceed expectations in service, performance, and safety. You will also be responsible for providing high-quality service, maintaining a clean environment, and creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for guests. Additionally, you will handle routine customer complaints, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve the issue and ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the Assistant Manager, General Manager, District Manager, Director of Operations, and VP of Operations to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Responsibilities
  • Execute restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
  • Build a strong relationship with crew members and foster a positive work environment.
  • Train and coach crew members to build a highly skilled and productive team.
  • Model Dairy Queen and DND Group policies for crew members.
  • Provide high-quality service, maintain a clean environment, and create a warm and friendly atmosphere for guests.
  • Handle routine customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Work closely with management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6+ months of high-volume quick service restaurant experience required.
  • Ability to perform the functions of each crew position, including customer service, product preparation, cash accountability, drive-thru, and back-line food preparation.
  • Leadership qualities necessary to coach crew on restaurant policies, standards, and customer service.
  • Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices.
  • ServSafe certified or approved equivalent.
  • Strong hospitality and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in and out of different temperature ranges, stand for long periods, work around possible allergens, and lift up to 50 pounds.
