Northstrat is seeking talented individuals in the MicroStrategy domain to enhance our workforce. We have positions available for MicroStrategy Administrators, Architects, and Developers specializing in Reports, Dashboards, and Dossiers. The successful candidate will be tasked with comprehending and documenting client requirements, selecting the most appropriate Business Intelligence/MicroStrategy functionalities to fulfill both immediate and future goals. This position entails the creation of metadata objects, reports, and dashboards utilizing the latest MicroStrategy version, and serving as a liaison for client demonstrations and interactive sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document client requirements for Business Intelligence/MicroStrategy solutions.
  • Design and maintain metadata objects, reports, and dashboards using the latest MicroStrategy version.
  • Participate in client interactions, supporting demonstrations and design sessions.
  • Assume the role of an analyst/developer, collaborating closely with clients.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, prioritizing user objectives.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience with MicroStrategy's dynamic dashboard, report development, and project design.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
  • Extensive experience in project planning, estimation, and defining approaches.
  • Proficient in reviewing and enhancing logical and physical database designs with BI platforms.
  • Expertise in MicroStrategy schema definition, design, and maintenance.
  • Experience in developing application objects, including metrics, templates, and filters.
  • Competent in configuring, governing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the Intelligence Server.
  • Proficient in MicroStrategy Security Administration.
  • Understanding of client-server applications and architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of relational structures, dimensional data modeling, SQL, Data Warehousing, and reporting methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all management levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to identify requirements and deliver results.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Web SDK.
  • Proficiency in the MicroStrategy Administration toolkit.
  • Expertise in MicroStrategy Security Administration.
  • MicroStrategy 9.X training or certification is advantageous.
