- Meet or exceed sales and service targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in security technology.
Requirements:
- Must possess a State of Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or have the ability to obtain one.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats to clients and office staff.
- Ability and willingness to adhere to all Illinois Alarm installation and employment policies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the low-voltage industry.
- Proven expertise in installing and servicing burglar alarms, fire alarms, and camera systems.
- Ability to use a computer and familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code, NFPA 72 & 101, International Building Code, or the ability to learn.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to drive in all-weather conditions.
- Ability to lift packages and equipment boxes from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs. if necessary.
- Ability to perform on-call service (after hours, weekends, holidays on request).
- NICET Level 1 certification preferred; if not certified, must be able to obtain NICET Level 1 within 18 months of hire.
