Enterprise Field Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Field Operations Technician II to join our team at Lumen Inc. This role involves working closely with customers and collaborating with various business partners to build and maintain our extensive network and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer orientation, be flexible and hardworking, and exhibit a positive culture and a growth mindset. They will be responsible for performing network/customer equipment installs, provision and test circuits, and maintaining optical and electrical services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing network/customer premise equipment installs, provision and test circuits
- Maintaining optical and electrical services
- Troubleshooting network/customer premise equipment
- Removing and replacing defective modules
- Tracking spares and ensuring repair of defective equipment
- Protecting Lumen's buried fiber cable assets
- Monitoring, collaborating, and identifying fiber routes and performing fiber locates on outside plant fiber
- Actively participating and collaborating in restoration of inside and outside plant services to ensure integrity of Lumen's network
- Performing basic AC and DC power installation and maintenance of equipment
- Updating redlines design of circuits, status updates and progress of new installations, maintenances and trouble ticket reporting
- Performing preventive and schedule maintenance inspections on power, and HVAC equipment and critical infrastructure
The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will also be required to work on-call 24x7 on a rotational basis, on stand-by, call out, dispatch, and overtime as dictated by the business.
