Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to join our team in Carlsbad, CA. The successful candidate will work closely with operational and business functions to support hardware build activities during development, ensuring aggressive development schedules are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support prototype hardware planning and build activity
  • Interact with product development teams to ensure product development schedules are met
  • Collaborate with operational support groups to prepare for LRIP builds and production ramp
  • Apply product development knowledge and experience to provide guidance and recommendations to teams
  • Ensure product designs support production readiness
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in development of sophisticated electronic hardware under aggressive schedule constraints
  • Engineering background with a can-do mindset and willingness to accept any task in support of program needs
  • Broad-based, hands-on engineering-level involvement in support of electronic hardware manufacturing, including fabrication, assembly, and production planning
  • Strong understanding of structured development processes, including gate reviews, configuration management, and procurement systems
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, IPC specifications, and workmanship
  • US Citizenship required
  • Up to 10% travel

  • Competitive salary range: $126,700.00 - $220,200.00 annually
  • Additional cash or stock incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package
