Job Title: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team in Aberdeen, Washington.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Health Educator, Chronic Care Coordinators, medical providers, and other clinical team members in an outpatient setting to provide nutrition education and counseling to patients with various health conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and experience working with patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, and hypertension. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients with chronic diseases
  • Work closely with the Health Educator and Chronic Care Coordinators to develop and implement nutrition education programs
  • Collaborate with medical providers to develop individualized nutrition plans for patients
  • Conduct patient risk assessments and provide nutrition services in individual and group settings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to promote nutrition education and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition from an accredited university
  • Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program or Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics and status as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission for Dietetic Registration
  • Certified Dietitian in the state of Washington
  • Registered Dietitian Credential
  • Experience working in an outpatient or similar setting with an interest in working with patients with chronic diseases
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
